The Program enabled me to master a European Language and acquire the knowledge and analytical tools necessary to understand the Social, Political, Cultural and Economic challenges that currently affect all European countries including the new Eastern democracies.
The Program included a placement year (Year 3), living, working and studying in the target language. My Final Year Politics dissertation focused on the contrasts between the European and British reactions to 9/11 and the Global impact it had.
An Erasmus Placement that formed part of my Year Abroad. A fantastic opportunity to meet and study with students from across Europe, as well as gaining first hand experience with the German University system. Whilst attending the University subjects studied included Translation, Political Economics and German Language classes.
